Today was a beautiful walk through vineyards and all of the orchards over slowly rolling hills. In total I did about 35 km including a couple of excursions to check out some for us. Met some very nice pilgrims long the way from the US, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, England and Japan. Everybody was on a journey of some sort either personal or in the case of the gentleman from Belgium, and 1800 km fundraiser for his niece who has terminal cancer.

Last night I stayed in an Albergo in Najera. Although clean, it was very tight quarters. This morning it’s about 6:30 people are up and getting themselves ready to get on the trail.
